I'm a former public and academic librarian, and in those jobs served patrons and students of the humanities and technology, as well as many other subjects. In my current position, I edit the reference print and e-reviews for Library Journal and School Library Journal, and cover reference news for Library Journal. Recently, the latter task has meant blogging about subjects as diverse as the AP's new 9/11 stylebook and how to promote your library when students check into foursquare elsewhere. Outside of that, not much Galaga, but I am busy being the parent of two digital native, avid readers and reading voraciously myself for Library Journal's Best Books list, which I might be enticed to give hints upon at the unconference.
